David Rosier
Business Development Director
David has over 30 years experience in the life and health industry. He started his career in the UK with a direct insurer, focusing on risk management issues.
In 1984 he was a founding director of Skandia Re (UK) responsible for business development in the UK and Asia Pacific region. In the early 1990s David moved to Hong Kong to head the regional risk management team for the benefit of two of the largest direct insurers in the area. He then moved on to establish the Asian operations of a leading American reinsurer. David is a Chartered Insurer and Fellow of the Assurance Medical Society.
He was instrumental in the development and launch of the Diploma of Medical Underwriting. He has also been a leading industry speaker and creator of publications on topics such as business development, emerging market entry and risk management principles.
Currently David is a representative on the organising committee of the International Underwriting Congress and is active in both the North American and Australian Underwriting and Claims Associations.
He is also a council member responsible for training and education of the Life Office Management Association (LOMA) and Hon Treasurer and Council Member of the Assurance Medical Society.
