Fees Structure
ORS are dedicated to a competitive pricing policy. It is our practice to work closely with our clients to establish the exact nature of their requirements and the level of service and experience they seek and only then to negotiate a fair price for the particular piece of work in hand.
Our preference is to negotiate 'day rate' rather than 'piece rate'. It is our view that the latter encourages speed of completion over quality. Notwithstanding, ORS do appreciate the need for timely completion and minimum target volumes in the form of a Service Level Agreement would be usual.
In the case of underwriting, the unit cost is invariably closely associated with the product mix including type of product, multiple contracts, percentage of joint lives etc, where the work takes place and the mode of delivery.
With claims assessment, the unit cost is closely associated with the complexity of the product.
In all these matters there would be mutual exchange of information and discussion with the client.
Our price includes all routine referrals to our Consulting Medical Officer where appropriate. Specialist Consultant opinions are also available from our own panel of Specialists; a client would be contacted to authorise any additional expenditure in this connection. Also included in our price would be the provision of regular management information reports.
If you would like to discuss our fees structure or would like to obtain an estimate of relevant cost, please contact us.
